PROJECT STEPS

STEP 1

Yesterday we met with Victoria Chance and Mary Anne Inglis, the founders of My Neighbors Voice.

This informative session allowed me to gain an understanding of the goals, challenges, and potential for this unique community engagement opportunity.

The core of this business is dependent on the deep hospitality and safe space.

STEP 2

Our group created a Power Point Presentation to document our focus on this project

STEP 3

The next step is to take these ideas and create logos from them! This is what I have come up with

STEP 4

After showing our ideas to the class, we collaboratively chose the ideas we wanted to continue adapting and showed them to the creators of My Neighbor's Voice on Sunday. They then chose on their favorite, but ultimately decided they wanted something more playful.

THE VISUALS OF MY NEIGHBORS VOICE

Having a visual of what happens during these conversations is important to understand how to develop and brand this company

WHAT IS MY NEIGHBORS VOICE?

Community dialogue with a purpose.

My Neighbor’s Voice is a gathering of community members who identify as Republican, Democratic, Independent: left, Independent: right, or Other who intentionally come together to share a simple supper, experience generous hospitality, and listen to each other’s honest thoughts, stories, ideas, and opinions about our shared civic life through a moderated conversation.

The purpose is to create a safe and pleasant space in which to listen to a variety of people who are willing to share their personal opinions about how to best live together in community.
